Happy Birthday and A Giveaway!

October 8, 2012 in Blog

Happy 1st Birthday to Pruning Princesses. I am so grateful for the encouragement I have found in this little corner of the Internet. To celebrate I am hosting a giveaway: a $15 gift card to Amazon so you can buy a book you’ve always wanted–maybe two books if you can find used copies. You get entries in the giveaway by leaving a comment if you follow the blog or share about the blog on Facebook or Twitter.

Blogging is my hobby, but like most hobbies it is more fun to do with friends. So please, tell your friends with daughters about Pruning Princesses. I would love for them to join the conversation. I would love to meet more moms, so we can encourage and challenge each other, ask questions, and find answers. And I am so in love with the mentor moms who share their wisdom here. I want more moms to benefit from these posts. Thank you for reading and encouraging me.

If you are not sure what book you might want, check out the Explorations page  or come back Wednesday for a review on the book:  Tough Guys and Drama Queen: How not to be blindsided by your child’s teen years by Mark Gregston.

If you are new to Pruning Princesses. Welcome. Here are some of my favorite posts (you can see other’s favorites on the sidebar)

And now for the giveaway!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

*Pruning Princesses is my hobby. No one sponsored this giveaway. Amazon is not a sponsor of this blog. (I wish!) Rafflecopter will randomly choose the winner. I will contact you to make sure you want your gift card and to be certain you are a real person. And then it will be sent to you via email.

Hi April. I was just thinking of you today. I hope life in rural Michigan is fun and that having a backyard is super exciting. Are you homeschooling MacKenzie this year? Thank you for reading the blog. I am so glad you enjoy it.

Thanks Melinda! I so appreciate your support. I am super excited for next week. I hope moms are challenged to think about a hard topic (eating disorders) before they HAVE to. I have some exciting things planned!

Hi Laura. So nice to meet you. We share the most common name of our generation I think. So glad you found your way here through Nikki, she is so sweet. How old is your daughter? Mine are 8 and 10. I hope you win! Laura
